The masterplan was heavily data informed and was a collaboration with Blue Cottage of Cannon Design who led the healthcare consulting.

The scope of the master plan consisted of four Health Education Campuses (One main academic medical center campus, and three healthcare campuses on the mainland.

This 500+ page master framework document currently remains confidential in internal use by UTMB. All images are process drawings and do not represent the final approved master plan.

Design Strategies and Innovative Concepts
Performed the role of lead campus planning designer on the development
of the conceptual campus master plan design of a new 190 Acre
greenfield site. Provided two vetted campus planning options
to the client, requiring minimal development revisions, meeting all
requirements for site circulation (healthcare campus) with supportive education and research space
program and infrastructure coordination through multiple
client leadership reviews before a single option was
selected. Advocated for the insertion of a expansive central green space interlocking public spaces anchored by the two historical buildings at UTMB's main urban campus on
Galveston island to improve the wellness experience and
orientation of their densely built and aging campus. us.
